Rewards
Bear Trap is the main source of Essence Stones especially for F2P players, and are required to upgrade the Hero Gear. Other rewards include Lucky Hero Gear Chest, Enhancement XP Components, Alliance tokens, and resources.
There are two type of rewards:
- Damage Rewards: based on the damage dealt during the Bear Trap event
- Hunting Achievements: issued only once when the target damage is reached
Rally Leaders
Rally leaders should use the best heroes available to them, below an overview of the best heroes based on their skills available each generation.
Note: I am aware the graphic available online is slightly different. I don't see the point of repeating the same hero in "Best" and "Alternative", if you are looking at the alternatives it is because you don't have that specific best hero. Therefore, I provided the best alternative from previous generations.
Rally Joiners
Rally joiners should use heroes that boost either Attack, Lethality or Damage. Please refer to the INSERT LINK HERE guides for the detailed explanation.
With a focus on the Bear Trap event, in the table below you can find the joiners tier list based on their contribution to the final damage output.

Troops and Damage
Most of the damage is dealt by Marksmen and Lancers, while Infantry contributes marginally. Preset your marches accordingly, prioritizing Marksmen, followed by Lancers and finally Infantry.
In orderd to prepare your marches in advance, calculate the maximum deployable troops for your marches:
- If your total troops do not exceed the maximum deployable troops you can simply equalize all your marches
- If your troops exceed the maximum deployable troops: split Marksmen and Lancers among the available marches, then fill the rest with infantry. Note that if you lead a rally you have an extra march available. For example if you can deploy 6 marches and you are a rally starter, your total marches is 7.
- If you are a strong rally leader, consider setting your rally with 1 infantry, 20% lancers and 80% marksmen (only if you have at least 25-30% of marksmen in the other marches to join other players rallies)
Strategy
As an alliance you should try to start rallies with some delay. In this way when your troops return from a rally you can immediately use them to join another rally has been launched 60-90 seconds before
The strategy is very simple, you want to join as many rallies as possible. Avoid cherry picking rallies for damage
For example: if from the strongest rally you can join you achieve 20M damage points, you can achieve better results by joinin 2-3 lower rallies that give you 8-10M point rather that locking your troops in a single rally for 5 minutes.
In addition, you want to join rallies with the full marches you preset. If your march has 100,000 spots, do not join rallies with only 40,000 spots left. By defaults, the game prioritize infantry over lancers over marksmen when joining such rallies. As a result, you end up sending out marches that cannot achieve their maximmum potential damage.
When you start a rally, you may want to check the heroes sent by your alliance members. Using the Rally Joiners Tier List, kick heroes that do not add damage to your rally (only if the skills of these heroes are used by your rally, you can check this by clicking the yellow flag at the top-right corner of your rally overview.
